There’s no doubt about the fact that Kim Kardashian is one hot mama-to-be, but she’s already worried about the weight loss work she’s going to do after giving birth. She’s up 52 lbs with six weeks to go! You can do this, Kim!
Kim Kardashian, 35, is almost ready to give birth to her second child, a bouncing baby boy, and like any expectant mother, she’s got her worries about life post-pregnancy. Kim’s gained a bit of weight in the last eight months — 52 pounds to be exact! — and according to a tweet she posted on November 10, she’s ready to start that slim-down battle as soon as possible.
“Ok I’m 52 lbs up today….and I still have 6 weeks to go! I got my work cut out for me!!!!” Kim tweeted, along with a few strong-armed emojis. Kim is a beautiful pregnant woman, and hopefully she knows that. But it’s normal to fret about baby weight, especially when you’ve gained enough that you don’t feel like yourself anymore.
With six weeks to go in her pregnancy, she’ll likely gain more weight, and there’s really nothing to do about it besides wait until that beautiful baby boy (Saint West?) is born! It has to be hard going through such bodily changes, though. Kim posted a throwback pic on November 6 captioned “#TBT skinny dayz #imissu.” The photo shows her looking slim in a silk lingerie bodysuit and black tights. She looks absolutely gorgeous, but it’s so unfair to compare yourself to what you looked like when you weren’t pregnant!
Poor Kim has been very vocal about having preeclampsia during this pregnancy, a condition that causes the body to retain a lot of water, inducing swelling in feet, ankles and other body parts. It’s been a rough pregnancy; aside from the preeclampsia, Kim’s also suffered from placenta accreta, a condition in which the placenta is growing in and around her uterus. She’s been through so much, and looks so good.
