Vivica Fox & 50 Cent — do you two really have nothing better or productive to do than to throw mud at one another? Grow up and use your fame for good, not to throw cheap shots.
Vivica A. Fox, just because you are upset that former boyfriend 50 Cent, 40, has dissed the hit TV show Empire, doesn’t mean that you should go on Watch What Happens Live to supposedly “out” him. That’s exactly what you did on Nov. 8, when you suggested to Andy Cohen that your ex is gay. Andy was asking you to respond to 50’s homophobic comments about Empire. “You know, the pot calling the kettle black is all I’m sayin,” you told the shocked TV show host.
“You’re not insinuating that 50 Cent is…?” Andy followed up with you, and you refused to back down. “I don’t think there will be backlash. I think I speak the truth,” you dug in . Now, Vivica — first of all, if 50 Cent is gay, there is nothing wrong with that but it should be up to him to reveal his own sexual preferences if he chooses to. So trying to insult him by blatantly hinting that he’s gay is just plain not cool. And why would you want to get into the thick of a nasty feud with him anyway?
His alleged comments dissing Empire‘s lower ratings this season because of “gay stuff” in the plot lines have been denied by his rep. But even if he did say them, why lower yourself by responding? Empire is a huge hit and 50 Cent happens to be producing a competing show on Starz called Power, which is also doing well — but hasn’t received as much attention as Empire. Vivica, you should be secure and proud of the success of the show you are about to be a part of, playing the character Candace, Cookie’s sister. Why would you care what 50 says?
Now, 50, your response to Vivica, 51 — a woman that you once loved when you two were a serious couple in 2003 — has been absolutely disgusting. You took to Instagram to deliver this ugly message: “Oh No!!!, 😳 Now she thinks I’m gay because I let her lick my a**. 😔 LMAO. Wait,I didn’t want her to,she forced me, my hands were tied. 50 shades of grey.” You then continued with your Instagram Vivica put downs, posting a photo of her captioned “really bad boob job” and “b*tch remember when you told me f*ck Halle Berry and you could have played all the roles she did better then her? And I just looked at you 👀 like what the f*ck kind 💊sh*t did you take?LMAO.”
This is ugly, ugly, nasty behavior. Both of you.
Vivica, I know that you’re telling your fans that you’re laughing off all of 50 Cent’s slams on Twitter, saying that “he made some funny posts” and that you’ve “got stories in [your] vault too”, but this is not a door that you should have opened. You have so much positive going on in your life with your new role on the hottest show on TV. You should only be looking forward, not over your shoulder at an envious man who many years ago was “the love of your life”. And 50, how about being bigger than your ex. Power is powerful in its own right. Throwing shade at Empire‘s ratings only points out that yours are smaller.
You two need to enter the adult world already. How about thinking about being role models? No doubt, lots of young people look up to you, or would. Fame is a gift that shouldn’t be abused or taken lightly!
Do you agree, Hollywoodlifers — should Vivica and 50 Cent both shut up the diss fest and grow up? Let me know.
