Khloe Kardashian To James Harden: ‘Lamar Needs Me’ — I Can’t Leave Him

Mon, November 9, 2015 7:02pm EDT by 5 Comments

Khloe Kardashian may be enamored with James Harden, but that doesn’t mean she’s about to leave Lamar Odom in the dust. Khloe refuses to ditch her ailing husband, which isn’t always easy for her beau. A source tells EXCLUSIVELY, how Koko is telling James.

Khloe Kardashian, 31, had a great time with boyfriend James Harden, 26, on their romantic dinner date on Nov. 8. Although she enjoyed the relief and sense of normalcy James gave her, Khloe just can’t break it off with husband Lamar Odom, 36. A source told EXCLUSIVELY how she’s explaining that to James. We have all the details.

Khloe may have a sizzling connection with James, but that doesn’t mean she’s jumping ship on Lamar just yet. “Khloe has been telling James repeatedly that Lamar needs her,” a source told EXCLUSIVELY. “If she didn’t call off the divorce, Lamar would have tons of worthless leeches around him, including his old party buddies.”

Fair enough. Lamar has been known to have some seedy characters trying to take advantage of him. But how much of it is Khloe absolutely needing to protect Lamar, and how much is her making excuses to James to keep Lamar around. “Khloe knows if she wants to keep James in the picture, she must make it seem like Lamar has no one else he can depend on except for her,” the source told EXCLUSIVELY.

Khloe felt an amazing sense of relief after her date night with James, and no shortage of reported EXCLUSIVELY, but she just can’t bring herself to break ties with Lamar. She knows how much easier and calmer her life could be with James, but she has an unbreakable bond with her husband that’s hard to move past. We wish Khloe all the best in making her very difficult decision between the two when the time comes.
