Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani better watch out when ‘The Voice’ live shows start up Nov. 9. HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that Adam Levine and Carson Daly plan to give them a hard time about their romance on the air for all of us to see!
Blake Shelton, 39, and Gwen Stefani, 46, are going to have to watch their backs now that The Voice has returned to NBC for its live shows. Coach Adam Levine, 35, and host Carson Daly, 42, are going to do some serious ribbing about the couple’s new romance, and HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE details on how Blake and Gwen are going to be working hard to keep the focus on the show, and not their new love life.
“Carson and Adam have been joking on them since the relationship has started and will definitely continue that on TV with a ton of jokes in their direction. Carson and Adam can’t wait for the live shows to unleash on Blake especially,” our source reveals to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY
But Blake and Gwen are planning to do their best not to make themselves the target of any ribbing. “They want to not engage in PDA on set, they want to respect the show and the contestants, they don’t want to make it about them,” our insider continues. That makes perfect sense, as it was photos of their cuddly display at Adam’s Halloween party Oct. 31 that eventually outed their relationship!
The pair’s romance caught even their co-stars off guard. The day after Gwen’s rep confirmed their relationship, Carson told his Today Show co-hosts that, “I didn’t know. I didn’t think Blake could get a girl as hot as Gwen to be honest. He’s a goofy cowboy. She’s the queen of cool. But God bless them. They’re two of the nicest people in the business. We’re thrilled they are finding each other and good luck, we love you.”
