No matter where Drake goes, it’s always an opportunity to break out his ‘Hotline Bling’ dance moves. Even at the sidelines during a Clippers game, Drake isn’t going to be stopped from busting a quick move!
While attending the LA Clippers game on November 7, Drake thankfully had a cushy court-side seat, so we could see what happened next. When “Hotline Bling” came on the speakers in the arena, Drake boogied in his chair! Click through to watch the magic happen!
You know when that hotline bling, it can only mean one thing: Drake’s going to start dancing. After weeks of enduring everyone and their mother poking fun at his goofy “Hotline Bling” dance moves in his now-iconic music video, Drake decided to embrace the movement and just recognize that yeah, it’s all pretty dorky. That doesn’t mean they’re not amazing, though!
Drake gleefully pulled out the moves again while watching the Clippers face off against the Houston Rockets. Though the Rockets beat the Clippers, Drake had a little victory of his own. As soon as the arena’s speakers started blaring “Hotline Bling,” Drake burst out laughing and did a little dance in his seat. You know, the one where he holds up a phone to his ear? Classic.
Drake actually wasn’t the only person with “Hotline Bling” on their mind that Saturday. On SNL, Jay Pharoah led a parody of the music video, that examined how his moves were pretty similar to old white men who don’t know how to dance at all. Think about your dad, physics teacher, drunk guys excited at football games — and your tax guy, if Donald Trump played him. They’re just all trying to shimmy their way through life, just like Drake!
HollywoodLifers, do you like Drake’s moves? Tell us in the comments!
