When he’s not getting into spats with One Direction’s Liam Payne, social media star Tyler Oakley is making his own movies! Click here to see the emotional trailer for his first documentary, ‘Snervous,’ and we dare you NOT to shed a tear!

Here’s YouTube sensation Tyler Oakley, 26, like you’ve never seen him before in the first trailer for his new documentary, Snervous. The social media star wows in his very own film that’s sure to pull at your heartstrings. What a journey for Tyler!

Snervous, which was directed by Amy Rice, follows Tyler on his recent Slumber Party tour, where he performed a variety of skits throughout the US and UK. There’s also a poignant and very emotional moment when Tyler reveals his struggles about coming out as gay to his dad.

“A lot of people in my life, they don’t get what I do,” Tyler says in the trailer. “I’m 26 years old and I’m wearing a onesie on stage. I’m not making skits, I’m not making films, so in essence I guess I’m a personality.”

And rightly so. Tyler wouldn’t have gotten so many fans if he wasn’t such an irresistible personality. This documentary looks like fun, and we can’t wait to see it when it’s available to download. You can also catch it in select movie theaters on Dec. 11.

Since setting up a YouTube account in 2007 as a freshman at Michigan State, Tyler has amassed over 490 million views, has more than 7 million subscribers and has 21 million social media followers.

“To me, what’s really an important difference between traditional entertainment and digital — on YouTube specifically — is that people thrive when they’re authentic about themselves,” he says. “You don’t want to be a friend with someone who is not being honest about themselves.”
