Khloe Kardashian wanted all the attention on mom Kris Jenner at her epic birthday bash, and HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY reveal Khloe banned all talk of Lamar Odom’s medical concerns while celebrating her mom’s 60th birthday. Find out all the scoop!
It was an epic night for Kris Jenner, who celebrated her 60th birthday in style with a Great Gatsby-themed party at The Lot in West Hollywood on Nov. 6. HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that Khloe Kardashian, 31, didn’t want anything distracting from her momager’s celebrations, with talks about Lamar Odom, 36, and his health completely off limits!
“It was a night for celebration, so any talk about Lamar’s health was banned from the night by Khloe,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She didn’t want it to put a damper on her evening and hoped that a night out with her family would be the distraction they all needed away from everything.”
A great time was had by all, with Kris being serenaded in song by son-in-law Kanye West, 38, and later being seen passed out from exhaustion in the back of a car with lover Corey Gamble, 34, as they left the party.
A few friends at the party did ask about Lamar’s condition out of politeness. “She [Khloe] told them now isn’t the time to talk about it, and all she would say was, ‘He’s doing fine,'” our source continues. “But she certainly didn’t want to be drawn in to any conversations about him. It was a night for Kris, celebrating their mom, who has done everything for them and put them in the strong financial position they’re in. That was the purpose of the night – to enjoy themselves – and everything was very happy.”
It looks like Kris had an amazing time with her daughters, which was much-deserved considering they’ve spent a lot of their time caring for Lamar in the hospital, as he continues his recovery from an alleged drug overdose.
But the joke was on Kris because it was also poking fun at her. The video was a spoof of Kris’ infamous “I Love LA” music video called “I Love My Friends,” which she made when she was just 30.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Was Khloe right to ban all talk of Lamar’s health? Let us know in the comments below!
