Miranda Lambert didn’t look too happy walking the red carpet at the Country Music Awards on Nov. 4, just minutes after her ex, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani confirmed they’re dating, but hurting Miranda is the last thing Gwen wants, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned.
You can’t help who you love and Gwen Stefani, 46, certainly knows that. The Voice coach just confirmed she’s dating Blake Shelton, 39, via her rep, even though they’re both freshly divorced and might be hurting their exes with the sudden announcement. Miranda Lambert, for one, didn’t look super thrilled while walking the red carpet at the Country Music Awards in Nashville on Nov. 4, just minutes after the news broke.
“Gwen is a kindhearted person and the last thing she would want to do is cause Miranda any pain, but she can’t help how she feels. She hopes Miranda understands,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. We’re not sure if Miranda understands, and we can’t really blame her if she doesn’t. Breakups are hard and seeing her ex with a new woman, so soon after their divorce, can’t be easy.
After weeks of romance rumors, Gwen’s rep finally told Us Weekly Nov. 4, “Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating.” The rep also told TMZ that Gwen and Blake wanted to reveal their relationship as they celebrated the CMAs in Nashville on Wednesday evening. They’ll be “attending several after-parties following the awards ceremony,” a source also told the news site.
We know Gwen and Blake are just following their hearts, but we hope for Miranda’s sake, she doesn’t see them together.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are Blake and Gwen being mindful of Miranda’s feelings?
