Elizabeth Banks channeled her character, Effie Trinket, for the world premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2’ in a stunning floral Elie Saab gown — it was the perfect premiere look to kick off the promotional tour for the final installment of the series! Do you agree?
Elizabeth Banks, 41, looked exquisite as she stepped out in a breathtaking ball gown for the world premiere of the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 in Berlin on Nov. 4, where she looked fierce in Elie Saab florals. The star is always one we love to watch on the red carpet, especially because she always takes risks in interesting designer dresses — and her latest ensemble was no exception. She took our breath away in her whimsical ensemble, which consisted of an embroidered, printed silk organza gown for the Elie Saab Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2015 collection.
The frock featured spaghetti straps and a full, structured skirt, adding to the glam drama of the ensemble — can you say premiere perfect?! She added to the ethereal vibe as she wore a gold leaf appliqué head-piece, also from the fashion house — it was an amazing accessory. She finished off the look with Brian Atwood pumps. I love the way Elizabeth paid homage to her character, Effie Trinket, in a show-stopping gown — and this glam look has us so excited to see what else she wears while she continues the promotional tour for the final installment of the series.
The star took the red carpet by storm at the world premiere, alongside her co-stars — which included Jennifer Lawrence, who dared to bare her cleavage in a plunging burgundy gown.
