Talk about a triple threat! At the 2015 Country Music Awards on Nov. 4, the show’s host, Brad Paisley, performed his college football anthem, ‘Country Nation’– jersey and all! Watch it now!
Hey, country kiddos, take note. Brad Paisley, 43, was on hand at the 2015 Country Music Association Awards on Nov. 4 in Nashville, TN to not only host the shindig, but also to show everyone why he’s been killing it in country music for decades now. Brad rocked out with his new hit, “Country Nation,” which is all about college football. Naturally, he was joined on stage by mascots and cheerleaders!
Brad got into the college game day spirit himself, too, rocking a football jersey while he crooned smoother than silk. Adding to the theme, the entire performance was enhanced with a football field backdrop.
The whole thing takes us right back to college, right? Oh, you haven’t been to college yet? K, well, shhh, we’re still young, too!
Brad’s Busy Fall
Brad is in the midst of a very busy fall! In September, he released “Country Nation,” which, as we said, is all about college football season (hello, what else does anyone talk about in September, anyway?). Actually, “Country Nation” isn’t just about football– it’s about football’s biggest fans! The epic video features tons of the NCAA mascots, all coming together for one massive game on the field. Talk about kicking off the season (see what we did there?).
Adding to both Brad’s busyness and college football affinity, he also has a ton of college camps performances on his docket. The country rockstar will hit up tons of universities throughout the fall season including Virginia Tech, Baylor University and the University of Arkansas– oh, and did we mention each of these college performance is completely free?
So, let’s take stock here: Brad is a football fan, a country legend, and generous to boot. So, in other words, he is a perfect person whom the country Gods continue to bless us with and we could not be more grateful. BP forever!
What did you think of Brad’s performance at the CMA Awards? Classic Paisley, or was it kinda meh in your opinion?
