Ash revealed the heartbreaking news on the Howard Stern Show Nov. 2. ”I actually tried to have a relationship, and it just didn’t work out,” he shared. “I’ve been away for six months. I was kind of seeing someone for about a year…I’d actually been with them for about two months out of that year.” They made such a cute couple, but what good is that if you never get to see the person you love?

Aussie heart-throb Ashton revealed to fans how insanely busy his band was back on Oct. 20, by posting a shirtless Twitter video with a giant thank you to the 5SOS fans for selling out their tour. “Hey what’s up you guys? We don’t say it enough, but I wanted to say thank you just so much for everything,” he says in the vid. “I know we’re super busy at the moment and it’s kind of easy to lose track of actually what’s going on, but the fact is you guys have made this band everything it is today and we can’t thank you enough. You make our dreams come true, seriously. Thank you, thank you so much.” Thank YOU Ashton for the not wearing a shirt in the video….it’s kinda hot!
