90’s kids, unite! The cast of the iconic Nickelodeon show ‘All That’ reunited for one precious night to talk shop and do something amazing: sing the theme song together on stage! Are you getting nostalgic yet?
Two generations of All That cast members reunited at Stan Lee‘s Comikaze Expo in Los Angeles on November 1 for one incredibly epic panel. After talking about their legendary 90’s hit show, which jumpstarted the careers of Kenan Thompson, Nick Cannon and Amanda Bynes, the group got together to sing the theme song. Did we mention it was a cappella, with some terrible beatboxing and rapping? Fresh out the box! Stop, look, and watch! Ready yet? Get set! It’s all that!
Former All That cast members, including Angelique Bates, Danny Tamborelli, Kel Mitchell and Lori Beth Denberg, blessed us with the chance to hear the show’s amazing theme song again — even if their singing was just a little bit rusty. The group looked genuinely happy to be together again, belting our the song that was the theme song to their (and our) childhoods.
We’ve always imagined how much fun it would have been to be on All That. Don’t lie, you’ve dreamed of being Repair Man-Man-Man-Man or Ask Ashley more than once! It’s nice to see that a lot of the cast are still close, and proud to be part of this iconic kids show. Just look at all the selfies being taken on that stage while everyone’s trying their hardest to do the rap!
The occurrence of an All That panel at Comikaze brings up a serious question. There was just another All That panel at New York Comic Con (sans singing) on October 10. It seems a little fishy that this is all happening at once. Is a reunion in the works?? Christina Kirkman, who starred in seasons 9 and 10, thinks a new All That would totally be welcomed. She’s right!
“On the panel we talked about how All That was so unique as a kid’s show because it never talked down to kids. It was comedy that they could relate to and laugh at and I think kids need that,” Christina said. “Nickelodeon fans, especially, have been very vocal about what they want to see again. They miss ’90s TV shows and they’ve been saying they want All That to come back! I think we all have dreams about that.”
This is Allll That, this is Allll That! HollywoodLifers, did you love the All That singalong? Tell us in the comments!
