Taylor Swift just keeps topping herself! On Halloween, she brought out the amazing Idina Menzel, and together, they performed ‘Let It Go’ from ‘Frozen’ — and yes, they were in costume.
Taylor Swift and Idina Menzel should probably go on tour together. On Oct. 31, Taylor brought out the actress and singer on stage at her 1989 tour at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. And basically, it was the perfect duet for Halloween and included a costume change.
Before the show, started, Taylor actually warned the crowd of her epic show to come, as it was her last in the US of her tour. “Here’s the deal. I may have had a good feeling about you before I even got on stage. So I might have planned a few things for this evening,” she said, according to Tampa Bay Times.
Idina walked out on stage in a gorgeous blue gown, as Elsa of course, and began singing “Let It Go!” Naturally, Taylor was by her side in an epic Olaf costume (watch out, Josh Gad!). About midway through the song, both ladies ripped off their costumes to show their sexy regular performance outfits and finished the song while the crowd — over 56,000 people — sung along.
Basically, Taylor made everyone who skipped trick or treating that night, really glad they did. She’s had countless guests throughout her tour — everyone from singers like Selena Gomez, Mick Jagger and Justin Timberlake to Dwayne Wade to Olivia Benson herself, Mariska Hargitay to both Joey and Phoebe from Friends.
Basically, every night is SquadGoals redone with her tour. But Idina Menzel was definitely a great way to close out her tour, especially in costume on Halloween. Are you obsessed, HollywoodLifers?
