Aunt From Hell: Jennifer Connell Fails At Outrageous Attempt To Sue Nephew, 12

Justice is served! #AuntFromHell, AKA Jennifer Connell, has lost the case against her twelve-year-old nephew, Sean Tarala. She tried to sue him for accidentally breaking her wrist when he jumped into her arms to tell her 'I love you' -- but the jury quickly ruled against her! The Aunt From Hell, Jennifer Connell, 54, tried and failed to sue her nephew Sean Tarala, now 12. This is definitely one of the most insane stories we've heard about family members suing each other: Jennifer pressed charges for an accident that happened at Sean's eighth birthday party! She filed a lawsuit against him for $127,000, but was unsuccessful -- after a two-day trial, the jury ruled against her on Oct. 13. Good!

Jennifer left the court empty handed, as the CTPost has reported. The Connecticut trial lasted two days, but the jury required just 20 minutes to decide that Jennifer wouldn’t get a penny from her nephew (that’s right — she sued him, not his guardian). Six jurors ruled against Jennifer’s civil claim for the accident, which happened back in 2011! “We just didn’t think the boy was negligent,” an anonymous juror told CTPost.

#AuntFromHell: ‘It Was Difficult To Hold My Hors D’Ouevre Plate’

Sean was only 8 years old when the accident happened — he greeted his aunt at his eighth birthday by jumping into her arms. His enthusiasm broke her wrist, and Jennifer has been after the cash ever since. Sean appeared in court with his father, Michael Tarala, and as if this crazy story couldn’t get worse, his mother, Lisa, died last year. In an incredible show of insensitivity, Jennifer is the one claiming her broken wrist has ruined her life: “I live in Manhattan in a third-floor walk-up so it has been very difficult, and we all know how crowded it is in Manhattan. I was at a party recently, and it was difficult to hold my hors d’oeuvre plate.” Yes, it’s SO tragic that your social life has been disrupted, Jennifer. Unbelievable!
