[VIDEO] ‘The Parent Trap’ Spoof: Eliabeth Gilles Fills in For Lindsay Lohan – Hollywood Life

Elizabeth Gillies IS Lindsay Lohan In Epic ‘Parent Trap’ Spoof — Watch

Here's the 411: 'The Parent Trap' is one of THE best movies of the '90s and it was basically a dream come true when Elaine Hendrix -- AKA Meredith in the movie -- and her 'Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll' co-star Elizabeth Gillies recreated a scene from it. WATCH! Elizabeth Gillies, 22, and Elaine Hendrix, 44, make an amazing Hallie and Meredith, even in 2015. The Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll stars recreated a classic scene from 1998's The Parent Trap, and while Elaine stepped into her original role with perfection, it was Liz who really stood out as a Lindsay Lohan doppelgänger.  Lindsay, is that you?! Liz Gillies sounds just like LiLo in her and Elaine’s spoof of the famous scene from The Parent Trap, in which evil stepmother-to-be Meredith confronts 11-year-old Hallie to try and tell her who’s boss. As plaid-shirt-wearing, pigtail-sporting Hallie, Liz is every bit the smart aleck as Lindsay was, and completely nails her inflection — their voices even sound totally similar. Watch the video to see for yourself!

Liz tweeted the video on Oct. 11, Hallie and Annie (the other Parent Trap twin)’s birthday:

Elaine also tweeted a reference to one of her character’s most famous lines (“the day we get married is the day I ship those brats off to Switzerland”):

What a perfect birthday tribute — this movie is literally the gift that keeps on giving.

Elaine Hendrix & Liz Gillies Star With Denis Leary On ‘Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll’

When they’re not creating amazing videos like this one, Liz and Elaine star on FX’s Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. Elaine plays Dennis Leary‘s longtime girlfriend, and Liz portrays his daughter. The comedy was recently renewed for a second season — can’t wait to see more of Liz and Elaine’s talent on screen!
