‘Shadowhunters’: Clary & Jace Meet For The First Time In Epic First Look — Watch

Are you ready for the next TV couple you'll undoubtedly ship? 'Shadowhunters' doesn't premiere until 2016, but ABC Family has released an amazing sneak peek of Clary and Jace running into each other for the very first time. It's EPIC. Click to WATCH! Everyone who's read The Mortal Instruments, knows about Clary and Jace. The book series is getting a TV spin with Shadowhunters, and this first look will leave you wanting so much more. Clary (Katherine McNamara) and Jace (Dominic Sherwood) meet for the first time, and the tension between them is real.

Reading Time: 2 minute

The sneak peek picks up as Alec (Matthew Daddario), Isabelle (Emeraude Toubia) and Jace go after a demon together. Alec looks HOT, Isabelle looks fierce and Jace is pretty much perfect. The casting for Shadowhunters is so on point.

As the trio walks into a club, Jace bumps into Clary. “Hey! Can you watch where you’re going?” Clary asks Jace, who is completely shocked. He walks up to her with all this swagger and says in the sexiest way possible, “You can see me?”

Excuse us while we get lost in Jace’s eyes. Looks like Clary did, too. You can cut the sexual tension with a knife in this scene. Jace then starts spouting about her having “the sight,” and Clary has no idea what he’s talking about.

“How can I not know who you are?” Jace asks in such a swoonworthy way. “Has that line ever actually worked?” Clary retorts. The girl is super sassy!

Meanwhile, Simon (Alberto Rosende) looks on in horror as Clary seemingly talks to thin air. After all, he can’t see Jace. Jace walks away, but he definitely didn’t want to leave. Simon proceeds to tell Clary that she was definitely talking to an imaginary friend. When they don’t believe her, she takes off her jacket and follows Jace into the club. YAS!

Shadowhunters premieres Jan. 12 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC Family, soon to be Freeform. The series is based off of Cassandra Clare’s novels. Buy the books on Amazon here!
