When Matt Bomer‘s Donovan put on eye liner, we knew it was getting serious, fast — in the best way. Donovan and the Countess headed out for a movie on the grass during the premiere, and you know it’s a good scene when no speaking is necessary. And that’s exactly what happened.
The look that Donovan and Elizabeth gave an attractive couple during the movie, the way Donovan opened Elizabeth’s jacket without breaking that intense look, and then the way all four entered the bedroom — every bit of it was perfection. Of course, the stars took the lead, crawling on top of the couple and showed everything but their goods — Gaga was in pasties only for crying out loud! And once they got to enough hooking up with the random couple, the power couple had to feed: so they sliced their throats and drank their blood.
I have to also praise Ryan for that song choice, one he said was one of Gaga’s favorites, “Tear You Apart” by She Wants Revenge. You know these actors can act and he can write when they can carry a scene with looks and the score. .
John Travolta Watched, Too
EW was lucky enough to be on set for this shoot — and they revealed that Matt Bomer was wearing only a sock over his junk, which you can totally tell since he shows everything but!
Another interesting thing that EW captured was that John Travolta actually met Gaga that day, and stayed on set to watch (he was shooting American Crime Story on the next lot.) Ryan told the mag that she actually wanted “more explicit stuff than was written.” Instead of complaining at all, she showed up in “diamond pasties, a Band-Aid on her hoo-ha, heels, and a black veil that Alexander McQueen made for her on the day before his death. Then the crew gasped in delight and we were off!”
