There’s a new addition to the Roddick household! Brooklyn Decker, 28, gave birth to her first child with Andy Roddick, 33, on Sept. 30. This is the first child for the couple, who’ve been married since 2009.
Looks like we might have a new tennis great on our hands! Brooklyn and Andy welcomed a baby boy on Sept. 30 in Austin, Texas, according to Us Weekly. The news of their precious arrival comes five months after they announced Brooklyn was expecting with a cute baby bump pic.
Brooklyn posted an adorable photo on Instagram of her baby bump just two weeks before giving birth. “Flannel in the front, denim in the back… My kinda party. THANK YOU @jessiejamesdecker for this treat!! It’s one of the few things I can still fit into, and look forward to wearing after! You’re a rockstar mama, singer, AND clothing designer. xx,” she captioned the photo.
Andy admitted that they were beyond excited for their little one to arrive. “It’s something that’s been done a million times before… but to feel the baby moving around… it kind of just blows your mind… and now we’re at the point where we just want it to be here,” Andy told Page Six.
Brooklyn and Andy have always wanted kids, they were just waiting for the right time to start their family. “I love kids. I definitely want kids,” Brooklyn told People. “I just have to figure out the timing of that.”
The Sports Illustrated model and actress currently stars on the Netflix series Grace and Frankie alongside Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Martin Sheen. Andy retired from professional tennis in 2012.
