On the Oct. 1 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the hilarious host sat four children down to discuss a hot topic — presidential candidates. Just wait until you hear what they call Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump!
Jimmy sat down with a group of young kids to get their opinions on the current crop of presidential candidates — and it’s comedy gold. The kids think Hillary is 98, Abraham Lincoln “died from age,” and they really mistook a bunch of candidates for other people.
Jimmy held up pics of various candidates and asked the kids if they recognized the faces. One little girl, Edie, raised her hand enthusiastically and yelled that it was George Clooney. Welp, no. Not even close. It was actually Trump. Jimmy laughed and told her, “No it’s not George Clooney, but he’ll be very happy to hear you say that.”
She also thought Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton was good ole’ Martha Washington! Hilarious. The kids also mistook Ben Carson and Chris Christie for President Barack Obama — yeah, she was way off.
As for what they thought of Bernie Sanders? It was kind of harsh, but still, very funny. “I don’t want him to be president because he looks very old and he looks like this year he’s gonna die.”
Jimmy also tells the youngsters that he’s super smart, has been to the moon, Mars (twice) and that he discovered Alaska. At the end of the video, Jimmy tells the audience, “Remember, folks, children are our future.”
