Carlyn is from Tustin, California and she didn’t stray far when she got out on her own. She now appears to live in Los Angeles, where she also works, according to her Twitter page. Well, we know Zayn is also in Cali right now working on his album, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if they’ve been able to spend a lot of time together!

2. She’s a career woman who works in public relations
After graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Communications Studies in 2013, Carlyn began working as an Account Manager in Sports for CBS Interactive in Jan. 2014. The summer before landing that full time job, she had work as a Sports Ad Sales Intern for the same company.
3. She’s a private person
Carlyn has made a point to keep her Twitter account private, and she’s only following 120 people on the social media site (NOT including Zayn, we should note). “Carlyn is trying to keep a very low profile and the relationship will be kept under wraps as long as possible,” The Sun reported, regarding the romance. 4. She’s actually known Zayn for quite some time
Even though this is the first time they’ve been photographed together, Zayn and Carlyn have actually known each other for a while, although they’ve reportedly only taken their relationship to the next level recently. “They’ve socialized in the same place over the past year, but their bond has only progressed recently,” The Sun’s source explained.
5. Zayn may have met her family!
Less than a week before Zayn posted a photo snuggling up to Carlyn, he shared a cryptic shot of a highway sign for ‘Tustin Ave’ on Instagram, and as reported above, Tustin is the town in California where Carlyn reportedly grew up. Could he have gone with her to meet the family?!
