One lucky Katy Perry fan got invited on stage during the singer’s Rock In Rio concert on Sept. 27…and it got a little crazy! The overzealous fan seemed a little out of it and was ALL over Katy, smothering her with hugs and even a kiss. But the pop star handled it like a total pro!
Katy Perry, 30, gave one fan the opportunity of a lifetime when she invited her on stage in Rio de Janeiro on Sept. 27. Unfortunately, said fan may have had a little too much fun before the show, and was all over the place and slurring her words when the big moment came. Watch the crazy interaction and check out how Katy handled it here!
From the moment she got on stage, the Katycat couldn’t keep her hands off the “Roar” singer, totally smothering her and even kissing her on the cheek! Luckily, Katy loves her fans, and knew this girl was just having a little fun, so she didn’t freak out, and totally embraced the love. Although, she did note to the audience, “I think she’s rolling!” more than once.
The 30-year-old tried to find out the girl’s name on several occasions, but was unsuccessful, and jokingly referred to her as a slur of mumbling letters, simply mimicking what she heard the fan say into the microphone. Even after all the strange behavior, Katy still let her supporter stay on stage for more than three minutes. She did seem to start getting a little annoyed at the end, but she was such a good sport about it and handled the whole situation like a total pro.
Katy looked totally amazing for her performance to the massive crowd, and had some great support in the crowd from her friends like Rihanna and Cara Delevingne. She’s been touring for what seems like FOREVER, so it’s so amazing that she seemed just as into it as she ever has during the Rock In Rio show. Unfortunately, this non-stop touring means we won’t get any new music from Katy for a while — hello, the girl NEEDS to take a break! — but we’ll be patiently waiting!
