The competition on ‘The Voice’ is definitely heating up — and in this sneak peek of the Sept. 28 episode, all the judges turn their chairs and are ready to fight for a singer from Elizabeth, NJ! Watch.
When Manny Cabo took the stage during The Voice blind auditions, he completely belted out “Here I Go Again” — but he wasn’t on his own! Adam Levine was the first to whip his chair around, and he definitely was right to do so. I guarantee you’ll get chills from this performance.
Once the chorus gets going, Adam starts singing along, Blake Shelton turns too — and again, this isn’t surprising. Manny definitely has range, which is what ultimately gets Pharrell to spin his chair too, followed by Gwen Stefani who turns just before his stellar last note.
Pharrell gave him a standing ovation, but it was Adam who was standing on his chair at the end! Manny was definitely caught off guard by all the love, and clearly humbled by the entire experience. So, who will he pick? Well, Blake has quite the convincing speech: he’s a real man and he doesn’t trust “grown men who roll up their jeans…” ie., Adam and Pharrell, who wear rolled up jeans.
Blake Shelton ‘Desperate’
It didn’t really make much sense but hey, Blake Shelton continues winning so at this point, he can pretty much say whatever he feels like. He even tells Manny he’s “desperate” to have him on his team, while Adam literally stretches, getting ready to take on Blake and make a pitch. We can’t wait to see what he has to say.
The Voice airs at 8 p.m. ET on NBC on both Monday and Tuesday nights! Who do you think Manny will choose? Which coach do you think will be the best for him? Let us know!
