Sorry Pope Francis, there’s a new Pope in town and he’s stealing hearts left and right. On arrival to Philadelphia, Pope Francis was greeted by a large crowd during his parade on Sept. 26 — and one little baby stole the show. Click to watch!
Daniel Madden and his wife Dana came up with the cutest idea, they decided to dress up their infant daughter Quinn in a faux Pope ensemble. Then they greeted Pope Francis at the Philadelphia parade on Sept. 26 and his reaction was unexpected.
Thank goodness for video cameras! During Pope Francis’ parade through Philly on Sept. 26, he saw his biggest fan, a sweet little baby girl named Quinn. Her parents decided to dress her up in a matching Pope outfit — and it was a big hit!
In the video, you see baby Quinn being held up high into the air by her parents, just as Pope Francis’ motorcade came down the street. Just as he saw the adorable little girl, he started laughing and had one of his security guards grab Quinn and bring her over. The very delighted Pope, then blessed the sweet little girl, and gave her a precious kiss.
The Pope was smiling ear to ear as they lowered the baby and brought her back to her parents. It was absolutely the cutest thing we’ve seen from his visit. “He told his security guard to tell us that we have a great sense of humor,” Quinn’s dad, Daniel, told ABC station WPVI-TV in Philadelphia.
