This is so shocking and disgusting. George Zimmerman, the man who was acquitted of Trayvon Martin’s murder, allegedly retweeted a photo of the 17-year-old’s dead body posted by a fan.
George Zimmerman, 31, may have taken things way too far. It’s been over two years since George was found not guilty of second degree murder of Trayvon Martin, 17. George now allegedly retweeted a photo of poor Trayvon’s dead body after he was brutally shot and killed back in 2012.
Twitter user SeriousSlav allegedly tweeted out the photo of Trayvon’s body and called George a “one man army,” according to RawStory.com. The tweet reportedly read, “@TheRealGeorgeZ Z-Man is a one man army.” George then allegedly retweeted the photo, which was of Trayvon’s body dead in the grass after he’d been shot by George.
If this is true, this is just awful. Can’t Trayvon rest in peace? George also allegedly got into a Twitter fight with someone who threatened to slap him. He allegedly wrote back, “We all know how it ended for the last moron that hit me. Give it a whirl cupcake.”
Since his acquittal, George has continued his run-ins with the law. His estranged wife, Shellie Zimmerman, claimed that he threatened her life in Sept. 2013. He never faced charges from this incident. In Nov. 2013, he was arrested for allegedly sticking a shotgun in new girlfriend Samantha Scheibe face. He was charged with aggravated assault, battery, domestic violence and criminal mischief.
Just this year, George was arrested on an aggravated assault charge in Jan. 2015 after throwing a wine bottle at a woman. George was prohibited from contacting the victim.
HollywoodLifers, what do you think about this? Do you think it’s true? If it is, should George apologize? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
