The horrific motorcycle accident that reportedly left Fetty Wap bruised and battered finally has a silver lining. One of Fetty’s friends has released a photo of the rapper alive and well in the hospital — but with what looks like a gruesome leg injury.
Fetty Wap, 25, had a serious brush with danger after getting hit by a car on Saturday, September 26, but a new photo posted to Twitter by his friend DJ Louie Styles shows the “Trap Queen” rapper conscious and sitting up in the hospital; he apparently didn’t escape the accident without serious injury, though.
“wap is Gucci everybody thank you for your prayers #amen,” Louie, the CEO of LAE Records, captioned the pic — with a little prayer hands emoji added for good luck.
In the photo, Fetty is seen looking shaken and enormously bruised as he sits up on a stretcher in what appears to be a hospital room, while a paramedic stays by his side. The rapper’s right elbow is bandaged and wrapped, but his right leg is the biggest area of concern here. Swollen and bruised beyond belief, his poor leg is supported by a splint; it’s possible that his leg could have been broken in what’s been reported as a head-on collision. Scary stuff!
One of Fetty Wap’s representatives also confirmed that the man in the accident was the rapper, after much confusion over his identity. “Fetty Wap was involved in a motorcycle accident earlier today he was treated at a local hospital and is in stable condition,” the rep told TMZ.
Betty’s friend Just Blaze also tweeted about the incident, saying: “My fam picked up Fetty at the scene and got him treatment. He’s good. Other guy is in worse shape.” We’re glad to know that Fetty had his friends by his side when this happened!
The official word on his injuries are still out. At the scene of the accident, all that was known was that he was “responsive,” and that he would be taken to the hospital for assessment. It’s a little better to know that he’s sitting up and conscious, even though it’s so scary seeing his brutal injuries.
HollywoodLifers, help us send our best wishes to Fetty during this trying time.
