Zayn and Perrie have been broken up since July, and it looks like there is no going back for the former couple. In addition to going their separate ways, Perrie recently revealed to Mirror UK that she now officially has custody of their two dogs: Hatchi and Teddy. “Mum’s got the dogs at the moment,” she told the publication. “As soon as we go on tour I’ll take them with me.” So exciting!

While it’s been a rough road for Perrie these last few months, the singer seems to have finally moved on following the shocking split, and even admitted to enjoying her new single life alongside her fellow Little Mix bandmate, Jade Thirlwall, 22. “I love going out. I’m feeling brilliant and I’m in a good place – and I’ve got new hair. We have a bit of banter with guys in nightclubs… I love it. I’m having an absolute blast.”
It’s so great to hear that Perrie is doing so well, especially while Zayn is still using social media to send indirect messages her way. The former One Directioner sent a cryptic tweet on Sept. 24 saying, “I don’t want you to wait for me. I’m not coming home,” which fans speculated was his way of telling Perrie there’s no chance that he’ll ever come back. While these could of course be lyrics to a new song, this also wouldn’t be the first time that he’s used Twitter to prove that he’s over his Perrie by totally dissing her band — whose album Salute you can buy here— right after their split.
Thankfully, Perrie doesn’t seem to mind the possible diss that much. In fact, she got her own form of revenge when she continued to tell the Mirror that she has plans to take a special someone to Disney — a place that her and Zayn used to frequent. “I’d love to do a double date at Disneyland. That would be brilliant.”
