Will Kim Zolciak leave ‘Dancing With The Stars’ after suffering a stroke? Don’t bet on it. In fact, HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop that everyone at ‘DWTS’ thinks Kim will make her triumphant return in time to perform on the next episode!
Kim Zolciak, 37, is the star of Don’t Be Tardy and the last thing the reality television personality — and Dancing With The Stars contestant — would want is to be late! After she had a terrifying TIA stroke, Kim’s may have to miss out on the rest of DWTS. But, as HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned, the show’s producers expect to see Kim back on the set for the next episode!
“Everyone from the show expects her to return this week to perform,” a source close to the Dancing With The Stars production EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. Even though a stroke put Kim in the hospital on Sept. 24, all the people behind the scenes at DWTS think it’ll take more than that to knock her off the show! However, they won’t say that publicly, because the showrunners “want to hold off” on confirming whether or not she’s coming back. “They want it to be a tune-in moment,” the source says, explaining DWTS wants viewers to watch to see for themselves. “[The producers] are going to try and be as secretive as possible when it comes to her return to the show.”
Though DWTS won’t say if Kim’s returning, she’s determined to make it back on her feet — and back on the dance floor. Her partner, Tony Dovolani, has been by her side in the hospital. They even have been reportedly practicing the moves of their next routine while she’s in recovery!
Along with Tony, Kim has been supported by her husband, Kroy Biermann, who has given her plenty of TLC. Kim has also felt the love from her fans. Before she underwent a procedure, Kim sent out an Instagram message, thanking them for all the love and reminding everyone that they “don’t call [her] Toughie for nothing.”
Well, “Toughie” has “until show time to make it,” the source tells HollywoodLife.com. If Kim doesn’t arrive it in time for the Sept. 28 broadcast, the source says “she will be removed from the show.” Her elimination would mean that everyone else will have a “safe week,” the source says, adding that all the votes tallied for this week “will be added to next week’s votes.” So if Kim doesn’t hit her mark and return to the show, she will not just be eliminated — she may just save another couple from going home!
While Kim gets ready to return to DWTS, she also needs to work on preventing another TIA stroke. Dr. Bruce Lee, M.D. EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com that her doctors need to “determine why Kim is forming blood clots.” She could have a disorder or be taking medication that’s thickening her blood. Dr. Lee also recommended plenty of movement, so Kim getting back to dancing is exactly what the doctor ordered!
Do you think Kim will make it in time for Dancing With The Stars, HollywoodLifers? Will you watch the next episode to see her?
