Congratulations! Usher and his longtime girlfriend Grace Miguel are officially married. The couple who have had wedding buzz surrounding them for months, secretly eloped over Labor Day weekend before enjoying their Honeymoon in Cuba!
This is so amazing! Usher, 36, and Grace Miguel who have been together since 2009, called off an elaborate wedding in Atlanta, to keep things more intimate by secretly eloping over Labor Day Weekend. The lovebirds then jetted off to Cuba for some fun in the sun for their honeymoon! Read the full details below!
Usher and Grace have finally tied the knot, reports Us Weekly! The couple revealed their engagement in January of this year, after dating since 2009. The pair had originally planned on marrying before 100 guests in Atlanta, but decided to call off the elaborate ceremony in favor of quietly eloping. Following their secret nuptials, the newlyweds jetted off to Havana, Cuba, where there celebrated their honeymoon alongside close friends, including Ludacris, 38.
They two seem to share a truly happy life together along with the R&B singer’s two sons Usher Raymond V, 7, and Navyid Ely, 6, from his previous marriage to Tameka Raymond, 44. Usher and Tameka were married from 2007 to 2009.
While we don’t know much about their nuptials, Grace did post an Instagram photo on Sept. 16, in which Usher’s new gold wedding band is on full display. She captioned the photo: “#HabanaCuba.” These two make such a lovely couple don’t they? A year prior, Usher gushed about Grace, who is also his manager, to Billboard . “I have an incredible partner and manager,” he told the publication. “She has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and my career. She’s someone who’s been able to support and understand all of who I am. Not just as a dancer or as a performer or as a singer, but as a humanitarian and a business man and as a person.” So sweet!
