Taylor Swift has the most epic girl squad around — hello ‘Bad Blood’. With all those amazing girlfriends, choosing a wedding party could be totally agonizing. But luckily Tay Tay won’t have to make any tough decisions because she’s not planning to ask any of her friends to be her maid of honor.
It looks like Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” are about to come true because Calvin Harris, 31, is reportedly getting ready to pop the question — with a ring worth $1.4 million. But when the big day comes, don’t expect to see Selena Gomez, 23, or Karlie Kloss, 23, as her maid of honor because a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that the 1989 beauty has already chosen the most important member in her wedding party and it’s not any of her famous friends. Here’s what we know.
Taylor basically defined the word girl squad with her butt kicking music video for “Bad Blood“. We can totally picture any of her stunning sidekicks standing by her on her wedding day, but a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that she’s got other plans.”Taylor would want her mom to be her maid of honor when the time comes for her to get married. It’s very important to Taylor that when she gets married that her Mom is present at the wedding. She has told her Mom that she would want her to be her maid of honor and nothing would make Taylor happier than marrying the man she loves in front of family and friends and her mom completely cured of cancer to fully enjoy that moment. That would be Taylor’s perfect wedding.”
Back in April ’15 Taylor revealed that her mother Andrea Swift was diagnosed with cancer. She kept the details of her mom’s battle private but she shared an emotional post on her Tumblr page urging her fans to push their parents to get screened. We know how close Taylor and her mom are so it makes sense that she wants her to be the maid of honor at her wedding and we think it’s a great idea!
But what do you think HollywoodLifers? Should Taylor choose one of her friends as her maid of honor? Or is her mother a better choice? Let us know!
