Sorry, Zayn Malik, but One Direction is doing just fine without you. The guys announced their new album, ‘Made In The A.M.,’ on Sept. 22, and admitted that night that it’s their ‘favorite’ one yet! Are they totally shading Zayn?!
Is One Direction making better music than ever after Zayn Malik’s exit? The guys are SO proud of their upcoming album Made In The A.M., and even said that it’s the favorite work they’ve done yet. Listen to the interview here!
“It kind of started at the end of last year, start of this year,” Niall Horan told Apple Beats 1 at the Apple Music Festival on Sept. 22. “We took a lot of time to write and we’re all very proud of it. It’s definitely our favorite.” Yeah, sorry, Zayn — the guys are thinking they’ve done their best work without you!
Liam Payne added that Made In The A.M. was put together by all the guys going off separately and writing with different people, then coming back together again. “I guess that’s why it’s our favorite — because it’s the most we’ve ever written together,” he explained. “Which is nice.”
The band announced their new record on Sept. 22, revealing that it would be dropping on Nov. 13 (yep, the same day as Justin Bieber’s new stuff), and those who preordered it would immediately receive the album track “Infinity.” Fans immediately went crazy after 1D — whose fourth album you can buy here — made their announcement, and began speculating that the ‘A.M.’ in the album titled stands for ‘After Malik.’ Zayn really isn’t escaping this one unscathed, huh!?
Make sure to savor the excitement for Made In The A.M. as long as you can, too, because we already know the guys are taking a much-deserved break after album No. 5. And, of course, we’ll be anxiously awaiting their return!
HollywoodLifers, do you think 1D is dissing Zayn? Are you excited for the new album?
