Michelle Obama dressed her best for the Papal visit, where she donned a chic A-line frock that featured a lacy top for Pope Francis’ arrival at the White House. Did you love her formal dress for the special visit?
Michelle Obama, 51, started off her morning with a historic visitor, as Pope Francis, 78, arrived at the White House on Sept. 23 in Washington D.C. — and Michelle looked perfectly put together for the occasion. The fashionable first lady donned a navy Monique Lhuillier Fall 2015 3/4-sleeve dress, which featured an a-line skirt, as she stood alongside President Obama. She polished off the ensemble with a pair of Jimmy Choo ‘Aza’ pumps in navy patent leather. The lacy top of the frock added dimension to the look, which she finished off with a bouncy blowout — she looked beautiful!
President Obama and his wife welcomed the Pope before he approached the podium on the lawn of the White House to address the crowd. Just a day earlier, Michelle, along with her hubby and their daughters, Sasha and Malia, greeted Pope Francis as he arrived at Joint Base Andrews, where they donned conservative looks. Michelle looked beautiful in a baby blue Carolina Herrera dress while her daughters rocked chic separates, pairing midi skirts with short-sleeved blouses.
While Michelle’s latest look was appropriate and chic, as she donned the midnight guipure lace and jacquard frock, it would also look good for a formal evening affair. Love it? You can SHOP for a similar frock here on Amazon.com. We recommend sporting the lacy look for a cocktail party or wedding.
