As Kanye West prepares for his run for the White House, his first presidential campaign stop may be Super Bowl 50! HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE how Yeezy wants to perform during the Halftime show, even if he takes the gig from his new friend, Taylor Swift!
The NFL may have offered Bruno Mars, 29, the job of playing the Halftime show at Super Bowl 50, but that doesn’t matter to Kanye West, 38. Even if the NFL asks Taylor Swift, 25, or anyone else to play the show, Yeezy doesn’t care. HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that Yeezy thinks that there’s only one star big enough to play the football extravaganza: him!
Though Bruno has been offered to “curate” the Halftime show at the next Super Bowl, it doesn’t mean that other stars won’t join him on stage. After all, when Katy Perry performed at Super Bowl XLIX, she was joined by Missy Elliot. There are talks about Taylor making an appearance at the next Super Bowl, but her buddy Kanye is furious that no one has asked him yet!
“He hasn’t been invited to perform and he is livid,” a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. Considering Kanye has a new album coming out and his performances leave people talking, we can see why he feels slighted.
“He wants to be the halftime show,” the insider tells HollywoodLife.com, adding that Kanye “believes he deserves it. He is going to start campaigning for the spot.” Well, considering Kanye will be running for president in 2020, campaigning for a spot at the 2016 Super Bowl might be a good warm-up for his White House run. Hopefully, Kanye can find a way for him, Bruno, Taylor and anyone else to perform in what may be the biggest Halftime show ever!
When Kanye campaigns for a Super Bowl spot, he better make room for Britney Spears. The NFL wants to have multiple acts over the Super Bowl show, and a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com that they want to go BIG!
“They want to make this year a bigger deal with a host of different acts instead of one, especially since it’s the 50th Super Bowl,” the source says, adding they’ve asked Britney, along with Taylor, Bruno and others, “to make it a once in a lifetime performance.” And they didn’t ask Kanye? Hmmm.
What do you think about Kanye wanting to perform at the Super Bowl, HollywoodLifers? Do you want to see him make an appearance?
