Julianne Hough brought the drama to the judges table on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ with a sparkling black eye makeup look. The Egyptian-inspired beauty look was an unexpected switch-up, and it really made Julianne’s blue eyes pop. Get the details, below!

Julianne Hough, 27, can add makeup champ to her list of dancing wins on DWTS after trying out a bold eyeliner look on September 22. The dancing judge looked stunning in an asymmetrical white dress with cut-outs, gemstone embellishments and Tacori stud earrings, but her eye makeup definitely stole the show.

Spencer Barnes created what he’s calling a “futuristic Egyptian goddess” eye, and we’ve got to say, this is one makeup look we can totally get behind. We’ve already seen the high-fashion look go from the runway to the red carpet when Kristen Stewart wore a similar black lined look, but Jules put a ballroom spin on it with lots of sparkle.

To try the dramatic look out for yourself, Spencer says to use a waterproof eyeliner like Merle Norman Soft Touch Eye Pencil in Blackout or Lancome Le Stylo Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner in Noir to keep color in place. To add some dimension to the dark look, Spencer added micro green glitter, but you can get a similar effect by applying Merle Norman Eyeshadow in Sea Green over top of the black. To keep the look from being too over-the-top, Spencer created the perfect glossy lip by layering Merle Norman Lip Polish in Ladylike over Skinn Hollywood Nude Lip Palette.

For the rest of her retro-made-modern look, hairstylist Riawna Capri styled Julianne’s blonde bob in a sleek and shiny look with a diagonal part and slight bend.

What do you think  of Julianne’s dramatic eye makeup? Would you ever give the look a try?
