In a brutal week 2 elimination, jockey Victor Espinoza was eliminated on the Sept. 22 episode of ‘DWTS.’ I think it was too soon — here’s why!
Co-hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews seemed genuinely sad to see Victor go home at the end of the night. He told the cameras: “I had an amazing time, especially tonight. Tonight was special for me because I wanted to dance with Karina and everybody else with all my heart,” he said. “I know yesterday I was a little bit off because my pants were so tight.”
He actually had a pretty good night, dancing the Rumba with pro partner Karina Smirnoff. Julianne Hough told him: “Victor, you looked like you were 10 feet tall tonight. The way you handled Karina? Best danced you’ve done.”
“Whoever said size matters never met you. You were dominating,” Carrie Ann Inaba added. They got a 20, which was the 4th lowest score of the night. The bottom three were Gary Busey & Anna Trebunskaya, who got a 15, Kim Zolciak & Tony Dovolani, who got an 18, and Paula Deen & Louis, who also scored 18.
‘DWTS’ Victor Espinoza Goes Home — Gone Too Soon
Victor really seemed to be concentrating and focusing on his Rumba to make Karina proud. Plus, Karina is one of the best pros — we will totally miss her on the show! On the other hand, Gary has absolutely no rhythm and always seems so distracted during rehearsal. I do give Anna credit, since she needs major patience to train him. He also has a weird attitude towards the judges — his “diss” last night didn’t go over so well. Watch below:
Do you think it was Victor’s time to go? Or was it Gary’s time to leave? Tell me what you think in the comments.
