The end has come for one of Hollywood’s couples funniest couples — Amy Poehler and Nick Kroll. The comedic duo has reportedly called it quits on their two year relationship.
The Amy Poehler, 44, and Nick Kroll, 37, have reportedly gone their separate ways. The two actors spent the last two years together, but sadly, a new report states they called it quits. Say it isn’t so!
Please excuse us while we gather our emotions. “Unfortunately, they just couldn’t make the relationship work with their schedules,” an insider close to the couple told Us Weekly. “They really tried, but it just wasn’t realistic anymore. They were spending more time apart than together.” After hearing this, we need a minute to pull it together.
In Amy’s book, “Yes Please”, she opened up about her and Nick’s relationship. “I have a boyfriend who knows how to settle me. He puts his hand on my chest and tells me boring stories. On one of our first nights together, I woke up apologizing for my snoring and he pulled out two earplugs he had worn to bed so he could hear what I was saying. It was one of the most romantic gestures I have ever seen.” Tear. Plus side, you can buy it here!
Although Amy and her man split, she won’t be hiding out in her home and crying to old rom-coms and eating her emotions. She has her wonderful kids to fall back on — Archie, 6, and Abel, 5, whom she shares with with ex-husband Will Arnett.
Amy is quite the busy bee. She has a new comedy show coming to NBC — which she’s producing! The she also has her upcoming comedy film Sisters to focus on. We bet her BFF Tina Fey will be able to keep her occupied.
