‘Scream Queens’: Watch Nick Jonas Defend His BFF — ‘He’s Super Hot’

The Chanel/Boon/Chad relationship is by far one of my favorite off the bat in ‘Scream Queens’ — and after this preview, you’ll see why. Watch the sneak peek here.

Allow me to set the scene: in this scene of the Scream Queens premiere, Chanel (Emma Roberts) has just found out that her sorority Kappa Kappa Tau, is now allowing everyone in. So that clearly means it’s not just for popular people, which to her boyfriend Chad (Glen Powell), means she’s no longer popular. Naturally, he only can hook up with popular people, and when she has a hard time dealing with the break up news, Chad’s BFF, Boon (Nick Jonas) jumps in — and becomes our favorite character, immediately.

“With the campus suddenly filled with weirdos and fatties, there is literally no way you can be popular,” Chad tells Chanel, while playing golf with Boon. “And I need you to stay popular, ‘cause If you want to stay at the top of the list of the pieces of ass I’m getting, there’s criteria. And the criteria is, you’ve gotta be popular!”

Chad Doesn’t Have Time For This

You can now tell what kind of character Chad is — amazing. When Chanel tries to beg him to stay with her, Boon buts in. “Ok, I’m going to stop you right there because I am getting really pissed off. Chad is an amazing person. Chad Radwell is the president of the Dickey Dollars Scholars and he’s super hot, and he doesn’t have time for this.”

Nothing like a BFF to stand up for you! Clearly, Boon and Chad are very close, and trust me — you’ll want to keep an eye on that friendship. Basically, it will become your new favorite. In the clip, Chanel continues going on and on, really upset — or at least pretending to be.

“Stop fake crying. When you fake cry, you are so not hot,” Chad says, before getting really fed up and having Boon hold his golf club so he can have a serious talk. Watch the hilarious clip, then tune into the premiere of Scream Queens at 8PM ET tonight on Fox.
