Meek Mill just can’t escape the wrath of Drake fans! Drizzy slammed his nemesis more than once on his new mixtape, and fans are rubbing it in Meek’s face by flooding his Instagram with comments referencing the songs. Burn!
Drake, 28, fans are relentless! The rapper reignited his feud with Meek Mill, 28, by firing shots at him on the new mixtape What A Time To Be Alive, and Drake supporters want to make sure Nicki Minaj’s man has gotten the message. See how they’re taunting him on Instagram! To hear more about Drake, head over to iTunes and download the latest HollywoodLife podcast for free!
Right around the same time Drizzy and Future dropped their new music, Meek happened to upload two Instagram photos, and they both, tellingly, received thousands of more comments than his average pic. It was all thanks to Drake fans, who flooded the comment sections with diamond emojis, a reference to the What A Time To Be Alive album cover.
Both these photos received over 20,000 comments, while Meek’s other pictures mostly only have between two and three thousand. And while the rapper hasn’t addressed the mixtape directly, he did caption one of the photos, “#f–kboyseason lol,” which has many speculating that he’s referring to Drake.
In the song “30 For 30 Freestyle,” the Canadian really goes at his enemy, addressing their feud by rapping, “I say hats off for a solid effort/but we didn’t flinch for a second/we got our s–t together.” He also commented on Meek’s allegation that he uses a ghostwriter (which is what started the war between these two). “The pen is working if you n—as need some ghost line,” he sings.
And that isn’t all! Drake also takes on Meek’s fiancé, Nicki — whose album you can buy here — who he’s been rumored to have romanced in the past. In “Diamonds Dancing,” the 28-year-old raps about someone who did him ‘dirty,’ and rants, “How can you live with yourself? Haven’t even heard from you. How can you life with yourself? Ungrateful. Ungrateful.” Yikes!
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Drake fans commenting on Meek’s photos like this?
