This will make your weekend. Tom Cruise, 53, dancing to Bob Seger in his tighty whities from 1983’s Risky Business has NOTHING on him shaking it to Bruno’s hit “Uptown Funk.” Cruise makes another appearance in the video shaking it as his Tropic Thunder character Les Grossman, which had us in stitches.
The movie clips that have made it into this BRILLIANT mash-up include scenes from some of Hollywood’s most iconic films. Among the mix are booty shaking moments from Zoolander, Saturday Night Fever, Pulp Fiction, Magic Mike, Grease, Sister Act and The Wolf of Wall Street with Leonardo DiCaprio shaking it as if he wasn’t in the ’80s where the film was set but jamming out to present day Bruno!
Jennifer Garner‘s “Thriller” dance from 13 going on 30 makes it into the mix, alongside the Blues Brothers Jake and Elwood busting out moves that fit perfectly into a song 36 years after the movie came out. The mash-up spans all of movie time including the final scene from Slumdog Millionaire which was originally set to a Bollywood hit. Even Charlie Chaplin makes it in to the mix!
But Michael Madsen dancing with that straight edge razor in Quentin Tarantino‘s Reservoir Dogs has to be one of the most inspiring moments of this peppy mash-up. Especially if you’ve seen the film and know what he’s about to do with it. It’s grisly, but set to Bruno’s happy vocals, it doesn’t seem as dark.
Hollywoodlifers, what do you think of this amazing dance scene mash-up?
