If you were planning on watching any show that aired its series finale in the last year, well…hopefully you weren’t paying attention during the 2015 Emmys! A montage of scenes from the completed series’ aired during the awards show, revealing MAJOR spoilers — and fans are livid about it!
From here on out, it’s probably safe to refer to the 2015 Emmy Awards as the Spoiler Awards! While honoring shows that concluded in the past year, the Emmys played memorable clips from each series, but many of them gave away some totally shocking endings. And fans who were still planning on binge-watching the shows are pissed!
Between Sons of Anarchy, Glee, Revenge, Parks & Recreation and SO many more, some of our favorite shows of all time aired series finales this year. But those who were hoping to catch up on any of the series’ they missed the first time around were MAJORLY spoiled if they watched the Emmys on Sept. 20 — because some of the craziest twists were featured in a montage about the completed shows!
Immediately after the clips aired, fans went crazy on Twitter, slamming the awards show for spoiling what they still haven’t seen and have somehow managed to avoid on social media. Things got so crazy, in fact, that host Andy Samberg even quickly came back with a joke about the ordeal after the next commercial break
“Welcome back to the spoiler awards!” Andy joked. “I guess everyone on every show died.” YIKES! At least the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star was able to make light of the situation, but we won’t be surprised if some of these shows face a drop-off in Netflix or on-demand views in the next few weeks!

Yea Emmy's I'm not caught up on every tv show ever so a spoiler alert warning before you ruin the endings for me would've been nice

Wait. Did the Emmys just ruin the endings of every show I planned on binge watching later?
