After three days in Washington D.C., Pope Francis will continue his trip to the United States by visiting New York City. Of course Pope Francis is coming to NYC; it’s the site of St. Patrick’s Cathedral! The pontiff has so much more planned for his one, short day in NYC. 5:00pm: Pope Francis arrives at John F. Kennedy International Airport. His overnight accommodations have not been disclosed.
6:45pm: Pope Francis will lead the evening prayer during a Vespers service held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. This event is only open to St. Patrick’s clergy members.

8:30am: Pope Francis will address the United Nations General Assembly. A live feed of his address at the UN can be seen here during this time.
11:30am: Pope Francis will host and lead a prayer service for people of all religions at the 9/11 Memorial site. Following the prayer, he will be meeting with world religious leaders (name undisclosed) inside the Foundation Hall at the 9/11 Museum for a “multi-religious meeting for peace.”
4:00pm: The Pope will make a visit to Our Lady Queen of Angels School in East Harlem, spending time in a third grade classroom with students.
5:00pm: The papal motorcade through Central Park will give New Yorkers a chance to see Pope Francis, and potentially meet him. The procession begins on Central Park’s West Drive between 72nd and 60th Street. This is a ticketed event.
6:00pm: Pope Francis will celebrate mass on a massive scale at Madison Square Garden. This is a ticketed event.
