Well, Rihanna is already a movie star, so why not make a movie about her? HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop that RiRi and her new bae, Travis Scott, want to turn her amazing life into a feature film!
The Academy better start getting Rihanna’s Oscar ready. Just make sure to spell her name correctly. The 27-year-old singer and her new beau, Travis Scott, 23, have their sights set on Tinsel Town. Now, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that she and the “Antidote” rapper want to bring the Rihanna story to a big screen near you! RiRi has only been alive for twenty-seven years, but the “Diamonds” singer has lived a life full of tragedy and adventure. From growing up in Barbados to achieving music superstardom (with help from Jay-Z) to her turbulent romance with Chris Brown, RiRi has almost done it all. She and her new boy think her adventures would be great for a movie!
“They actually have been talking about doing an original film loosely base on her life,” a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. While she and Travis “are working on more music together,” the source added that they really want to expand into filmmaking.
Well, RiRi’s already started her takeover of the movie world. She appeared in 2012’s Battleship and This is The End, before lending her voice to the animated movie, Home. Plus, he music video to “Bitch Better Have My Money,” the song she co-wrote with Travis, was practically a short film. It’s not hard to see her star in a film based on her life.
In addition to making a movie about Rihanna, these two hip-hop lovers are considering remaking 1993’s Poetic Justice. The film starred Janet Jackson and the late Tupac Shakur. If anyone could give the film a modern flavor, it would be Travis and RiRi.
If Rihanna and Travis seem ambitious, blame her mentor. Jay-Z is a role model for Rihanna and Travis, and this young couple wants to be just like him and Beyonce. Travis and RiRi “want to be a hip hop heavyweight couple,” a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com, “just like Jay and Bey.”
What do you think about Travis and Rihanna wanting to make a movie about her life, HollywoodLifers? Would you go see it?
