The Kardashians/Jenners totally owned NYFW — that point was proven when Jessica Alba got totally shoved out of the way by Kylie Jenner’s security during an event on Sept. 13. The actress opened up about the ‘shocking’ experience during her ‘WWHL’ appearance. Watch it here!
Jessica Alba, 34, has been attending New York Fashion Week for years, but even she had to take a backseat to newbie Kylie Jenner, 18, at the opening ceremony on Sept. 13! While the reality star was leaving the show in a crowd of chaos, Jessica got caught in the crowd, and Kylie’s security even pushed her out of the way! Watch her describe the experience here.
“I was just really shocked. I got, like, body checked,” she told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live! “And it was by two of them! I thought there was a fire.” Ever the class act, the actress made sure not to call out Kylie or the Kardashians directly, instead keeping the description general.
“I guess someone was just leaving the building,” she added. “I don’t know, it was really shocking.” And, don’t worry: She doesn’t expect any sort of apology from the famous family, either. “I mean, I’m sure they [didn’t know] what’s happening,” she admitted. “Nobody knows.”
Clearly Jess — whose book you can buy here — is no stranger to screaming fans and wild crowds, so it’s nice that she can sympathize with Kylie wanting to get out safely. But, really, she should NOT have been shoved in the process — we don’t blame her for being totally shocked, confused and freaked out over the wary situation.
The drama clearly didn’t get to Kylie, though, because she partied all week long during NYFW! Besides attending parties and supporting her big sis, Kendall Jenner, 19, the 18-year-old even got to get some modeling in when she walked during Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 2 show on Sept. 16. So cool!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Kylie and her team should apologize to Jessica?
