It seems Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have been trying to have a baby for quite some time now. Sadly, it hasn’t been easy. The stunning model opened up about her exhausting struggles trying to get pregnant.
Chrissy Teigen, 29, is known to be a very outspoken woman. During the FABLife episode, the co-host got candid on a very personal issue — fertility struggles.
Baby plans have been brewing for quite some time between Chrissy and her hubby John Legend. “We’ve seen fertility doctors and once you open up about those things to other people, you learn that a lot of other people in your life are seeing these people and they have this shame about it,” she told the audience.
Chrissy and John have been married for two years, so it’s no surprise these two have babies on the brain — and they’re not the only ones.
“John and I have been together for so long now,” Chrissy stated. “I met him when I was 20, and I’m almost 30 now. Our relationship, before we even got engaged, was pretty significant too. But I will say that, just two years into being married, the questions come from all over. It’s kind of crazy.”
She followed up with how awful it must be for others who are also struggling to get pregnant, to hear all of those nosy questions.
“I can’t imagine being that nosy, like, ‘When are the kids coming?’ because who knows what somebody’s going through, who knows if somebody’s struggling? I would say, honestly, [that] John and I were having trouble. We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened, but my gosh, it’s been a process.”
