Vanessa Hudgens looked gorgeous as she danced the night away in voluminous curls and a bold red lip. Find out how you can copy Vanessa’s retro look!
Vanessa Hudgens, 26, must have a sixth sense when it comes to fashion, since she tried out a retro hair look on the very same day the models at Diane Von Furstenberg walked the runway in ’70s-inspired curls. Vanessa completed her look with a headband and belted gold dress with a plunging neckline.
It seems Vanessa had disco fever (or she was just following the party’s dress code) when she and boyfriend Austin Butler attended a birthday party in full ’70s looks.
To copy Vanessa’s statement-making hairstyle, follow stylist Orlando Pita’s rules (he did create a very similar look at DVF, after all). Start by creating a deep side part on damp hair and applying Tresemmé Make Waves Shaping Gel throughout the hair. Layer in Tresemmé Make Waves Shine Enhancing Spray and work with two-inch sections of the hair, creating twisted knots from the base of the neck, upwards, until all of your hair is in knots.
Dry the buns, then unravel them and create volume in the hair by lightly teasing the front section with a brush. Then set with a light hold hairspray to complete the look.

For the rest of her beauty look, Vanessa highlighted her cheekbones, brow bones and bridge of the nose, and went with bold brows and a strong blush on her cheeks. To complete the retro look, she wore a dark red lipstick like Lipstick Queen Cupid’s Bow Lip Pencil in Ovid.
Would you try Vanessa’s ’70s look, HollywoodLifers? Or is it best left for the runway?
