Ring the alarm! Taylor Swift had a close call during her Houston concert, but made it out just fine. You wouldn’t know that if you asked her, though! The ‘Bad Blood’ songstress went into serious panic mode and filmed it all to share with her fans.
Taylor Swift, 25, was prepping for her concert at the Minute Maid stadium in Houston on Wednesday, September 9, when she got an unpleasant surprise. The fire alarm sounded, sending her into major panic mode. Though her mother urged her to get dressed and get moving, Tay couldn’t do it — and opted to stay in her robe instead!
As anyone in the midst of a major emergency would do, Taylor filmed the whole incident for Instagram. Very funny! A woman off screen, later identified as Tay’s mother, Andrea, is pushing Taylor to get dressed, and as Tay stands her ground and looks increasingly ticked off, her mom keeps it up!
“I would put some clothes on darling. I’m not joking. Put some clothes on. Put some damn clothes on,” mom says as Taylor looks worried and stands firm in her bathrobe. Taylor isn’t having it, and responds the way any tired child tells their parent. “I have clothes on. I have a robe on. This is clothes, I’m covered.” Oh Tay.
Can you imagine if Taylor just went out onstage in front of thousands wearing that white robe instead of her usual glittery outfits she’s been rocking on tour? She was nearly naked! She looks panicked enough to not care, poor thing.
“A fire alarm is going off in the stadium and we don’t know what to do,” Taylor captioned her video. Everyone will be happy to know that her worries were totally for nothing; the fire emergency was a false alarm after all! Thank God!
