The Tadashi Shoji Spring 2016 collection was full of gorgeous gowns and fancy frocks — and we can’t wait to see them make their debut on the red carpet. Check them out right here and let us know what you think of the latest line.
The Tadashi Shoji Spring 2016 collection debuted at New York Fashion Week on Sept. 10, where the designer sent a slew of his signature feminine frocks down the runway. Inspired by springtime in Japan, the collection cosnsited of flowing dresses and gowns in tulle and sheer, decorated with embroidered detailing and blossom motifs — and it’s only a matter of time before the designer’s celeb fans show off the new collection on the runway!
Fashionable First Lady Michelle Obama has worn Tadashi on numerous occasions, and a belted, short-sleeved gown with floral detailing would look just gorgeous on her frame. The designer is known for his feminine silhouettes and detailing, but this season the line was even sexier, with sheer skirts and plunging necklines — in fact, it looked just like dresses we could expect to see on the sexy Lea Michele or Jennifer Lopez! A-line dresses and sleek gowns were also great for the designer’s most loyal celeb fan, Ocatvia Spencer! Personally, I loved a mini complete with a cape — it was one of my favorite looks that came down the runway.
Alyssa Milano, Zelda Williams and Katrina Bowden were among the stars that took in the stunning collection from the front row — but even if you didn’t snag a seat to fashion week, you can still see all the gorgeous designs right here.
