A soon-to-be Colorado mom was almost a month away from giving birth, when something horrific happened to her. Michelle Wilkins was viciously attacked and her precious baby girl was cut from her womb. Now, she’s opening up about her heartbreaking nightmare.

Michelle Wilkins, 26, was seven-months pregnant when another woman, Dynel Lane, brutally attacked her, cut open her stomach and removed her baby. Now, the victim has gained enough courage to relive the moments that unfolded that day in an emotional interview with Dr. Phil.

Michelle is reliving the horrific incident and opening up on what actually transpired in Dynel’s house of horrors. She appears on the upcoming episode of Dr. Phil where she discusses the attack and how she is coping with the loss of her baby.

Michelle had been in search of maternity clothing when she stumbled upon Dynel’s ad on Craigslist ad selling maternity apparel. So, she went to the stranger’s home in Longmont, Colo., but instead of getting clothes, she was brutally stabbed and her baby was cut from her womb.

“I was very confused when it all started,” Michelle told Dr. Phil. She was in Dynel’s house and was on her way out with the clothes when the attack happened. “I thought when she first hit me, ‘Was there a spider on me?’ She grabbed me and pushed me deeper in the house…it had this nightmarish quality…she broke something over my head and liquid was pouring on me.”

Michelle stated, “My core belief is that love motivates. I told her I loved her,’ and in turn she stabbed me. She said, ‘If you love me, you will let me do this.’” It was then that she was knocked unconscious and Dynel started stabbing her and eventually cutting open her stomach to remove the baby.

Michelle managed to regain consciousness and she called 911 for help. “She was barely hanging on,” emergency dispatcher Beth Kemper stated. “I wasn’t aware of the extent of her injuries. I don’t know that she was aware.” Beth added that Michelle kept asking for help “and I told her not to go to sleep.”

As for Dynel’s fate, she has pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted murder, multiple counts of assault and unlawful termination of pregnancy. The interview with Dr. Phil will air on Monday, Sept. 14.

Our thoughts are with Michelle and her family.
