Natalie Portman showed off a beautiful (and unexpected) makeup look at the Toronto International Film Festival with a soft plum smokey eye. Find out how you can copy her exact look!
Natalie Portman, 34, looked glam in an aubergine Dior dress with the makeup to match. The actress decided to forgo the traditional neutral smokey eye or black cat eye, and instead chose a purple smokey eye look with slightly defined lines. Keep reading for the exact products her makeup artist used to create her pretty makeup.
Makeup artist Melanie Inglessis wanted to create a subtle, colored eye to match Natalie’s dress and dewy, fresh skin. Working with Dior Beauty, used Dior Hydra Life Sorbet Crème and Dior Fix It 2-in-1 Prime & Conceal on her skin. For a soft flush of color, Melanie used Diorblush Cheek Stick in Cosmopolite Coral.
Turning her attention to the eyes, the new Dior Addict Fluid Shadow in Cosmic was applied first. To deepen the color, Melanie worked the two darker purple shades from the new Dior 5 Couleurs Cosmopolite Eyeshadow Palette in Eclectic along the outer corner and crease of the eyes and along the top and bottom lash lines. Diorshow Mascara on the lashes and Dior Addict Lipstick in Incognito on the lips completed the look.

Natalie’s hair was pulled back into a volumized French twist by Bryce Scarlett. The classic hairstyle was given a modern update by knotting pieces of the hair for a cool finish.
