The stage is set for an epic showdown between Chris Brown and Nia Guzman over custody of their daughter, Royalty. HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop that Royalty will be present when her mom takes Breezy to court on Sept. 11!
After all the time he’s stood before a judge, Chris Brown, 26, would need a good reason to appear in court. Nia Guzman, 32, may have found a way that ensures Breezy will show up at the custody hearing over their daughter, Royalty, 1. HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that when Nia goes to court, she won’t be going alone!
Nia’s attorney, Carl Anthony Moore, assures that his client will be in court on Sept. 11. “Nia’s feeling good about [the hearing],” Carl Anthony Moore EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. “We’re hoping the issues that are of concern to her will be completely resolved at [the Sept. 11] hearing.”
It looks like Nia is ready to fight Breezy over what she wants in terms of child support and custody. Nia reportedly wants to protest Chris’s request for joint custody, allegedly claiming Breezy hangs out with “thugs” and smokes weed. Nia’s lawyer also said that she wants Chris to pay more in child support so he can “provide protection and safety for his child.”
If Nia’s reportedly going after Chris’s crew, he might point out Nia’s connection to King Ba, the man once reported to be listed as Royalty’s father on her birth certificate. King Ba is reportedly wanted by the Houston Police on alleged charges of fraud. Nia has denied that King is on Royalty’s birth certificate and her attorney has said she hasn’t dated King for “several months.”
Chris has been in Texas on his One Hell of a Nite tour, and he has a day on the 11th. So, there’s a chance he might appear at the hearing. The clerk for the Judge presiding over the case EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com that Chris and Nia aren’t required to attend. That won’t stop Nia from showing up, though! “She will be present in court,” Carl Anthony Moore EXCLUSIVELY tells Hollywoodlife.com, “with Royalty. And, if Chris Brown’s in Texas, we sure hope he shows up.”
This hearing might be the only chance Chris gets to see his baby girl. He begged Nia to let Royalty come with him on his tour of Texas, but a source EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com that Nia shot him down! Nia “block[ed] his request, telling him flay out ‘no.’”
Do you think Breezy will show up to his court date, HollywoodLifers? Do you think he will just for a chance to see Royalty?
