Watch out, y’all: Rob Kardashian is bouncing back! Following a period of reclusiveness, the sole Kardashian son is planning a major comeback– and he’s already lost 15 pounds!
Rob Kardashian, 28, has struggled a great deal recently, gaining a reported 100 pounds in a single year, and battling depression. However, Rob is ready to put the past behind him and look forward to new projects– and that means a huge weight loss and a return to Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the reality series on which he has not appeared as a regular since 2012.
Rob is serious about moving forward and he has actually “already lost more than 15 pounds,” a source revealed to Us. “Rob has been sticking to the plan Gunnar [Peterson] created for him, and is getting meal delivery from a chef.”
Rob has been super elusive for the past couple of years (especially when taking into account the very public lifestyle of his family), not having made public appearances since the 2014 wedding of his sister, Kim Kardashian and her now-husband, Kanye West, when Rob infamously fled Italy and ultimately did not attend the nuptials.
Now, however, it seems as though Rob is ready to step back into the limelight– and it’s in large part about money. “He’s not getting paid if he doesn’t film,” another source said. Not only has Rob already begun to film for the 11th season of KUWTK, but “he has a $2 million-a-year contract. He realized he couldn’t give up this huge opportunity.”
Anyone who’s been following Rob recently won’t be surprised to hear that he is gearing up to be in the public eye once again. In fact, on Aug. 30, he posted a photo of himself on Instagram, looking noticeably slimmer. The fact that he would share such an intimate glimpse of himself is definitely telling of how much more comfortable he has become with letting people see him again.
Are you excited to see Rob back on KUWTK?
